Future of Food Mini-Grants Available!

To support the use of the new Tossed Treasures. How We All Can Waste Less Food. toolkit, twenty-five $200 grants are available. Recipients of the mini-grants agree to give two presentations from the new toolkit (for parents and/or mature teens) between September 26 and December 2.

Applications are due September 16, 2016 and mini-grantees will be announced September 26.

"Tossed Treasures. How We Can Waste Less Food." Toolkit

The toolkit includes one presentation for adults and/or mature teens and is available in English and Spanish

The presentation includes:

  • 25 minute PowerPoint presentation
  • Leader notes
  • Suggested 5-minute group activity
  • Coordinating handout

The Future of Food Tossed Treasures toolkit was developed by RDN farmer content experts. The new toolkit and mini-grant opportunity was made possible through an educational grant from National Dairy Council.
