Happy Holidays from the Entire Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Board of Directors!
This holiday season, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the Academy Foundation over the years for the trust you showed in us when you made a donation. We are grateful for your generosity and take great care to steward your donation to ensure it has a direct impact on Academy members improving nutritional health world-wide.
With your help, we have made major strides and helped change the lives of hundreds of lives each year. The gratitude expressed by our recipients should be shared with our donors as well, because none of this would be possible without your support.
How Your Donation Makes a Difference
With your help, over the past three years, the Academy Foundation has provided…
$1.6M in scholarships to more than 1,000 dietetic students at all levels of study.
I’m overwhelmed and grateful for receiving the CDR Doctoral Scholarship from the Foundation. This scholarship will help me to continue pursuing research in the area of global malnutrition.

2016 Mini-Grant Award Recipient
Being a “Hunger in the Community. What We Can Do.” Mini-grantee has been an incredibly worthwhile experience for me. It has enabled me to reach so many young people that were unaware of this compelling public health issue. However, they are willing and able to see what they can do to make a difference. In addition, the mini- grant has assisted me in partnering with others in the community who are diligently working to reduce food insecurity . Thank you, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation, for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this movement.
We hope that you will consider putting your trust in us again this holiday season by making a donation. I can think of no better way to make a direct impact with someone pursuing a career in dietetics or utilizing the Foundation’s public education programs to improve nutritional health in their community. Let’s come together as a community to support the organization that works year-round to elevate and empower dietitians. Enjoy the holidays and Happy New Year to you and all your loved ones.
