Happy Holidays!
December is a one of my favorite months since it gives us the opportunity to enjoy time with loved ones, reflect on the past year and get ready for a new year. As we review 2021, we are grateful that our Foundation has had a very successful year, awarding a record number of scholarships, thanks to the generous support of our donors.
Our awards and grants season begins in December, when we open our 2022 Award and Research Grants. Academy members can apply for funding for continuing education, recognition, international, and program development awards, as well as funding for innovative research in nutrition and dietetics. I encourage everyone to share the news about these wonderful opportunities for students and seasoned professionals in the next few weeks. The applications and respective deadlines will be made available within the Foundation’s application portal and you can always sign up to receive our weekly Kids Eat Right and Foundation News email that arrives in your inbox every Monday to keep you informed of our latest news and announcements.
