Governance Nominating Process Operating Budget

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is governed by a 12 to 15 member board of directors that includes the Academy President-Elect, Financial Treasurer, and CEO of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as up to four public members. A Donor Bill of Rights and Privacy Policy is always available for download.

The selection process for the Foundation Board is completed by the Academy Foundation Nominating Committee.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation manages nearly $39 million in restricted funds for specific scholarships, awards, research, and public awareness initiatives with defined criteria. However, dollars are needed annually to support the Foundation's innovative initiatives, implement programs, operations and sustain the mission of advancing public health and nutrition utilizing the expertise of RDNs.
