This presentation explained how the rapid economic transition and multicultural factors impact diet, nutrition and health status in Latin American populations, described a situational analysis of dietetics development in Latin America and provided insights on the role of the Argentinean Association of Dietitians and Nutritionist Dietitians (AADYND) with case examples of successful initiatives.
