Our Impact

As the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation was established in 1966 and is the only charitable organization devoted exclusively to promoting nutrition and dietetics.

Second Century

In honor of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ 100th anniversary, the Academy and Academy Foundation underwent a significant strategic planning process grounded in an extraordinary commitment to collaboration, a focus on service and an emphasis on solving the greatest food and nutrition challenges of the 21st century. A Second Century Member Campaign to fund initiatives to address these challenges raised $5 million dollars and made a significant impact our profession.
