Every year, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation proudly supports the future of the nutrition and dietetic profession by issuing stipends to help students and dietetic interns offset the cost of attending FNCE®. The Foundation’s ability to provide student stipends is directly attributed to the generosity of the many Dietetic Practice Groups, Member Interest Groups, state affiliates, and individual Academy members who support this program.
The Foundation is currently accepting applications for $100 student stipends to attend FNCE® 2023, which takes place October 7-10, in Denver, CO. Academy members enrolled as a student or dietetic intern for the Fall 2023 semester are encouraged to consider applying after registering for FNCE® 2023 as an in-person attendee. Virtual attendees of FNCE® 2023 are not eligible to apply.
To be considered, applicants must complete the electronic application within the Foundation’s application portal by 10 a.m. (Central time) on Monday, September 11, 2023. Emailed and hard-copy submissions will not be accepted.
Foundation student stipends are randomly awarded based on donations the Foundation receives. All applicants will be notified of their student stipend application status via email in September 2023. All recipients will be required to pick up their stipend at the Foundation booth during FNCE® 2023.
