FNCE^® Was a Huge Success!

I hope you enjoyed FNCE^® as much as we did. Our Academy Foundation appreciated the opportunity to interact with attendees. Academy members helped make FNCE^® a huge success, whether you participated in one of our virtual events, stopped by our booth to make a donation and learn more about how Foundation makes an impact on thousands of food nutrition professional each year through our programs.

If you were in Denver, you might have seen our Make it a Million Scholarship Campaign logo or heard about the campaign during Member Showcase. In fact, we often used the phrase, “the best way to predict the future is to create it.” That is exactly what we are doing with this groundbreaking campaign.

The challenges our students face while working to complete their education and achieve their goals are staggering. The number of scholarship applications our Academy Foundation now receives outweighs the scholarships we are able to award by three to one. In 2023, more than 700 deserving students who applied for a scholarship were unable to receive one based on available funds.

In an effort to meet this increasing demand and help dietetic students and interns overcome the many challenges they face, our Academy Foundation launched its Make It a Million Scholarship Campaign to raise $1M dollars by 2025 that will build up our reserves and enable us to award $1M in scholarships each year.

We need your help in meeting this extraordinary demand. The size of your gift is not as important as your participation in this campaign. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of dietetic students and interns and provide the support they need at this time.
