Sustainable, Resilient, and Healthy Food and Water Systems
Now that we have an understanding of the concept of food systems, Module 4 focuses on sustainability, including what sustainability and resilience mean in the context of food systems.
Learning outcomes from this module include:
- Defining the concepts of sustainability, resilience, and health on their own and within the context of food systems.
- Defining the concept of equity and discuss how equity is related to sustainability, resilience, and health in the food system.
- Describing the importance of water for food systems and human health.
