Scholarship Applications and a Fellowship Opportunity are Now Open – Apply Today!
April is turning out to be an exciting month in terms of opportunities with the Foundation. Scholarship applications for all levels of study for the 2019-20 academic year are due on Monday, April 22. Last year, the Foundation awarded more than 230 scholarships ranging from $500 to $10,000. Foundation scholarships are a benefit that Academy members tell us repeatedly they are most proud of; and because of which the Foundation has been helping provide a qualified workforce for over fifty years.

Foundation fellowships are another opportunity. The Foundation has been deploying fellows globally, focusing on areas that help us realize our Vision and Mission, including addressing malnutrition (which is a Second Century priority), food insecurity, and most recently, the Nutrition in Retail Program Development Fellowship funded by a grant from Walmart, for which applications are due on April 14. The Foundation currently has seven fellows and nine past fellows.
